How to play Okey

Step-by-step Okey for a first table, including what the Tilehaus interface expects you to click.

Good to know

Classic Okey uses the same 106-tile inventory as Rummikub.
The indicator is drawn from the set. The okey is the next rank in that color (13 wraps to 1 of the next color in Tilehaus).
Players hold 21 tiles; the dealer starts with 22 and discards first.

Open the Okey table. Choose seat count 2–4 (classic tables are 4). For a first game, enable bots so empty seats still draw and discard on time.

Taking a discard telegraphs a meld. If you are close to a show, prefer the center pile so you do not advertise the last rank you need.

There are two copies of the okey face plus two printed jokers in the 106-tile set. Seeing one okey discarded is rare and usually safe to ignore.
