Multiplayer tables
Host a Tilehaus room, share a five-character code, or fill seats with bots. The server applies the same rules as local play.
Good to know
- The game server listens on WebSocket port 8787 in development.
- Opponents never receive your hidden rack; the server sends a per-player view().
- Bots run on the server (or in the browser for local tables) and may only submit legal actions.
Local vs remote
Local tables keep the engine in the tab — useful for solitaire and commuting. Remote tables keep the engine on the server so a player cannot edit their Rummikub rack in DevTools.
Questions
How many humans can sit?
Up to the game maximum. Empty seats become bots if you start with fill-bots enabled.
